Upcoming fantasy-RPG Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is joining the long list of upcoming video game adaptations, as developer Sandfall Interactive and media company Story Kitchen announced plans to bring it to the big screen. What’s interesting here is that Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 isn’t even out yet, as it’s currently set to launch in April for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Actor Colin Farrell will executive produce and star in a series spin-off of The Batman, reprising his upcoming role as The Penguin. Variety first reported this news.

Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick has received a new contract Sports betting site B Sports with the gaming giant, and as part of it, his salary and bonuses are being cut in half. Kotick’s new deal with Activision Blizzard was due to end on December 31 this year, but it’s now been extended to March 31, 2023 with some new terms.
Under his new deal announced in a regulatory filing this week, Kotick’s salary as Activision Blizzard CEO is being cut in half. This follows on from a reduction in base salary in 2020 by 15%. Additionally, Kotick’s target annual bonus is being slashed by 50%, which represents a potential reduction of $1.75 million, the company said.

There’s good news for fans of the CW shows Kung Fu and Stargirl. The two series have been renewed for new seasons, much like most of the rest of The CW’s programming. Stardew Valley, the massive indie farming simulator, lets you and up to three friends run a farm together, via online play or couch co-op. However, since multiplayer was added post-launch and the majority of development is done by one person, there are a few modern features missing from the multiplayer. One of those features is cross-platform play, which isn’t in Stardew Valley.

Knockout City fans have noticed that there’s a narrative-driven conflict in the background of the dodgebrawl game. It’s an element of the game that will become more prominent going forward, as developer Velan Studios plans to innovate on Knockout City’s storytelling in future seasons.

In just four days, Diablo 4 has become Blizzard’s fastest-selling game of all time, Blizzard has, however, not revealed what the sales figure is thus far. Since its early access launch on June 1, the game has been played for 93 million hours, combined.
This comes by way of a press release shared on Businesswire, which notes that this major milestone is based on all platforms combined prior to June 5.
